consult

Once the photos and all necessary X-rays from your records appointment have been completed and your initial exam finished, Dr. Renick will sit with the you to review the findings and present possible treatment plans she feels will best fit your needs and provide the best possible result.

Q and A

During the exam, Dr. Renick will be relaying information to her staff for charting purposes. She may use terms you may not understand at first. It’s her job after the exam to explain in a clear manner what was being charted. At Renick Orthodontics, we invite questions from our patients and their parents. In many cases, this may be a patient’s, or their parent’s, first experience with braces or orthodontic treatment. Because orthodontic treatment is a cooperative effort between the patient, the parent and the doctor, Dr. Renick wants to make sure the problems and potential solutions are clear.

Vision Plan Action Success

A preliminary treatment plan is often discussed at the consult appointment. A more definitive treatment plan will be written up after the diagnostic records appointment. While a treatment plan is a good template to follow, sometimes it has to be adjusted during treatment to account for the way a patient’s individual biology responds or how well a patient wears their appliances. All of these treatment plans are designed to provide the healthiest, most aesthetic smile for our patients.
